Healthy Turkey Chili
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 medium chopped green pepper
- 3 jalapenos (seeds and pith removed, add back in to taste) and finely chopped
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2-3 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp crushed oregano
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2 cans Bush’s Hot or Medium Chili Beans
- 1 large can diced tomatoes
- Grated Cheddar Cheese
- Fritos Corn Chips
- Sour Cream
- Nons Original Pinching Salts (to taste)
Preparation and Cooking:
Saute the onion, green pepper and jalapenos in olive oil over medium heat, season with a few pinches on Nons Original Pinching Salts.
Once tender, add ground turkey and saute until browned. Blend in the chili powder, cumin and oregano.
Add the tomato soup, chili beans and tomatoes. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes. Add additional Nons to taste.
Serve over Fritos Corn Chips and top with cheddar cheese and sour cream!
