Red Eye Chicken Breasts with Creamy Limas
Preparation and Cooking
pour limas into a medium saucepan, add milk and butter and fill pan 3/4 of the way to the top with water (don’t add salt), bring to an active rolling boil just below high heat. While the water is heating, prepare the chicken (the pan will boil over if you aren’t there to adjust the heat, turn it down just enough to keep it from boiling over).
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, line baking sheet with parchment paper. spread approximately 1 tablespoon of Red eye revival per chicken breast on a large plate. Roll each breast in rub to coat and place on baking sheet and place in the oven on the middle rack.
Bake chicken to an internal temperature of 180 degrees (approximately 45 minutes). Taste test the limas after 45 minutes for tenderness and add Nons Original to taste.
